Excellent communication skills required   Oracle Hyperion Planning / Essbase Consultant   We are currently seeking Oracle Hyperion Planning / Essbase consultants in the Northeast Region (CT, NY, NJ, PA, DC and VA). Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 3 years hands on experience working with Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools. Overall experience should be a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive successful accomplishments for their employer and their clients.   Responsibilities:   The consultant will work alone or as part of an ISA team to implement Hyperion based solutions across all industries and will help ISA clients to achieve a positive return on investments from the performance management investment. Listed below are some specific responsibilities a consultant can expect while working at ISA.   Gathering and analyzing business requirements Participating in determining standards and best practices Partnering with an implementation team Transferring knowledge to the clients   Required Experience and Skills:   Qualified candidates must have excellent business consulting experience, a strong balance between technical, business, and project management skills and a can do attitude. Required experience and skills include:   A minimum of 5 years experience in the Finance/Accounting area. A minimum of 3 years experience in budgeting, planning and reporting with Hyperion Planning Experience in Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Application Link (HAL), Hyperion Reports, Hyperion Analyzer and VBA Strong written and verbal communications skills Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience is required, preferably in the Finance or Accounting areas. Ability to travel within our client region is required.   Additional Desired Skills Include:   Experience in full life-cycle of project development including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Rollout, Implementation, and Training Oracle Hyperion System 9 experience Experience in a variety of industries such as retail, financial, manufacturing and/or life sciences Ability to foster client relationships and working relationships with peers Excellent analytical and research skills Self-starter with ability to work on projects with minimum supervision while adding value to cross-functional teams Consulting experience is highly desirable
