Sharepoint Developer

Rate: $500 per day

Location; NYC (INPERSON Interview REQUIRED)

Duration: 6+ months

 

- In-Person Interview

- Investment Banking Exp

 

This position will be responsible for:

· Design, implement and maintain high quality, scalable and extendable SharePoint solutions

· Awareness of migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs.

· Design and implementations of workflows to support business processes

· Coding, testing and implementing solutions in a SharePoint environment

· Analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement and create specifications and implement

· Unit testing for all assigned deliverables.

· Will work from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment and administration

· Design and implementation of custom Web Parts and other programs that leverage the SharePoint object model

 

The successful candidate will have the following:

Technical consulting experience or as an architect/programmer, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in .Net 3.x, SharePoint 2007, SQL 2005/2008.

Excellent knowledge of programming / systems analysis, as well as quality assurance, prototyping, construction, integration, and migration functions

Good problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems; possesses an excellent understanding of business requirements and IT strategies

Strong experience with front end / presentation layer development

Extensive SharePoint Designer Experience with Data Form Web Parts, XSLT, Workflow

Full lifecycle experience in architecting large scale scalable applications.

Possess knowledge and experience in developing, customizing and implementing software solutions

Strong customer service skills and demonstrated the ability to build professional relationships.

Good communication skills with the ability to communicate (verbally and written) to all levels of the business.

Excellent team player with a proven background of individual contribution
