Business Analyst/Project Manager - CRM
Business: Media
Location: New York, NY
Description of Principal Duties & Accountabilities
· Drive and implement projects to achieve CLIENT Ad Sales objectives of Single view of the Customer, Enterprise Sell, Optimize Marketing Assets
· Consolidating all back end data and customer interactions to gain an aggregate, single view of the customer
· Coordinating Sales, Marketing, Research, and Operations resources to streamline Go-To-Market strategies
· Enabling systems and data to enable systematic classification and segmentation of our customers
· Formally tracking Opportunities and Sales Processes, gaining visibility into key sales metrics
· Enabling strategic integrations between CRM, Sales, Traffic, and DWH
· Work with the Local Media Sales, Operations, IT, and BI teams to document 'As-Is' and advise on 'To-Be'
· Identify digitization opportunities and design solutions to improve productivity and/or support growth
· Analyze business processes and requirements and translate into functional/technical specifications and system design using disciplined methodologies
· Coordinate technical teams to understand the linkages between disparate front-end and back-end data systems
· Manage onshore and offshore development resources to develop business solutions in Salesforce.com
· Design and champion upgrade enhancements for CLIENT Local Media including process enhancements, new fields, new screens, new functionality, and interfaces.
· Assist in identification of a long term CRM strategy
· Top key imitative: Marketing Strategies, Account Planning, Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC), Invoice Management Module (IMM)
Qualifications Required
· Bachelor's degree in technical and/or process focused discipline (Mgmt Info Systems or Computer Science)
· Minimum of 5 years' experience at writing and managing use cases and functional/technical requirements
· Minimum of 5 years' experience managing application development teams using diverse technologies including .NET, C/C++/C#, J2EE, etc
· Minimum of 5 years' experience of full systems development lifecycle experience creating enterprise or commercial technology solutions using disciplined methodologies (RUP, DFSS, etc)
· Good understanding of Customer Relationship Management Technologies and process
· Over 5 years of experience managing Systems multiple Efforts and priorities w/ Cross-Functional Teams & Concurrent Deadlines
· Over 5 years of experience in Supporting 24X7 Mission Critical Applications
· Over 3 years of high Level Experience w/ Data Architecture & Warehouse Technologies
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Related Field
· Over 3 years managing teams and budgets
· Over 3 years of experience working very closely with the key vendor on understanding their strategy, support model, roadmaps and vision.
· Participate in vendor assessment as needed for functional features.
· Lead all SOX, and DR testing as needed.
Qualifications Desired
· Project Management Certification (PMP, Six Sigma Greenbelt, etc.)
· Media Industry experience
· Sales force effectiveness / commercial excellence experience
· Customer relationship management systems experience
· Salesforce.com certifications (Application Admin, Application Developer, etc.)
· Cross functional experience (Sales or Operations roles)
· Strong business acumen and analysis skills to turn business requirements into functional/technical specifications and system design
· Ability to analyze system requirements, identify and map data elements back to source systems while working within the context of existing data schemas and ultimately designing system interfaces
· Experience supporting business critical systems
· Exposure to networking concepts, web servers, transaction servers
· Experience supporting vendor packages in the Media & Entertainment Industry is a plus
· Experience in Information Technology with a variety of hardware and software disciplines
· Strong problem solving skills
· Excellent written and verbal communications
· Effective interpersonal skills
· Ability to work across multiple groups
· Self motivation and resourcefulness required
