Job Descriptions:-

·         Minimum of  8 years of design, implementation and support of IT systems monitoring.

·         Experience with the design on new monitoring capabilities.

·         Experience with creating technical non-functional monitoring requirements

·         Monitor appl and server performance, view connections, review dashboards within the tools listed above, may develop more dashboards to generate alerts based on varying requirements
Work with Infrastructure and Application teams to manage monitoring processes, components, reports, agents, rules, etc

·         Define high availability monitoring requirements for business applications that enable proactive management of the operational environment, timely circumvention of issues, timely triage & restoration of service as well as thorough root cause analysis. 

·         Define technical monitoring requirements for the monitoring tools team to configure the monitors/metrics/stats/thresholds/alerts/notification/console/reporting, etc.

·         Define non-functional monitoring requirements for project development teams to deliver ensuring monitoring is addressed and necessary functionality is built by the project teams.

§  Document operational processes and assist with performance improvements & efficiencies

§  Support application in an *on call* capacity to understand the challenges with application support

§  Some experience with Java or other programming languages in a distributed computing environment. Some experience with databases would be a plus.
