Looking for a Senior Architect,for their Portals and Consumer Web  division for it's NJ location, with travel. Reporting to the Director of Web & Mobile Development, this Architect has primary responsibility to shape the technical direction on all of their B2B and consumer portal sites within the development team. This person needs to be well versed in front end UI, middle tier integration, and database development, as well as working well under pressure and short timelines. The ideal person will possess strong leadership, hands on technical, heavy experience with Web, designing and developing enterprise-class systems. Frequent direct interface within Software Development, QA, as well as business owners.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Hands-on development and coding is required, primarily in C#, and will be part of their daily job description.

2. Design,Develop,and support object oriented Web Services and Web based applications that will be used in a highly production environment.

3. Convert business requirements into actionable technical requirements.

4. Be able to design and develop reusable code, define best practices.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 

1.  7-10 years hands-on experience with Microsoft .Net stack, including C#,ASP.Net,SQL Svr,WCF,WPF, Sharepoint, XSLT, JavaScript, AJAX,XHTML.

 2. Experience in developing and maintaining highly available facing Web sites.
